Last weeks cake collection

 Was so glad to get these cakes finished last week,
because this week I've been struck down with a blooming chest infection!! Timing eh!
Never managed to make a cake for my  family, pretty gutted about that, oh well cant be helped i suppose.

This a cake for my mum and dads 49th Anniversary today. I practised some new thing with this one, cake pops, and royal icing! will have to practice some more I think!

Mum's Cake

 Quickly made mums cake for Monday, was going to make flowers for it but my cake box isn't deep enough! so stars it had to be, as these are the only cutters I have.

Since the cake is from all the family, I thought it would be nice to put on what she is to everyone.

Not a Card!

I made a photo for a young single parent that comes into the shop every morning.
She was saying that she couldn't get anything with her daughters name on, so I thought I'd surprise her by making a little something for her.

Its so nice to be making little girlie things, as we have all boys in my family, you never know I might get some orders from this!

To raise the letters I used straws, fanned out the ends and popped them through some cut out flower shapes.

I am working on a very special gift for lovely young lady, she is not feeling her self at the moment,

and its her 21st on Monday.
Got lots of bling to put on it yet, but its got a shape at least now!
